In my 9 years of learning agility, I have experienced that the root cause of most of the Agile Implementation failures are leaders’ inability to create sustainable, self-organising teams, as well as the working environment of a team and organisation.
As a servant leader, it is vital to create a safe space. “Serving and Leading is not popular…it is exacting and hard to attain, but it is highly rewarding and fulfilling when it is done well. It is not easy to be a servant at heart and leader at mind.”
